PSAT / NMSQT Testing

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a standardized test administered by the College Board and cosponsored by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) in the United States. Approximately 3.5 million students take the PSAT/NMSQT each year.

PSAT Testing

The Preliminary SAT (without the NMSQT) is administered to all 9th and 10th graders in April each year, during the school day, at no cost. The results are typically released about one month after the test date and can viewed through each student's College Board account.
