Using Fee Waivers to Apply to College

Applying to a university can sometimes cost money. Some universities charge fees for submitting an application, and some require you pay a hefty deposit once you commit to attending. On the other hand, some colleges and universities charge no application fees whatsoever.

Some fees may be waived, however, for students who can demonstrate a financial need or hardship. Below is information on several types of fee waivers.

Types of Fee Waivers

  • Admission Application Fee Waiver
  • Enrollment Deposit Fee Waiver
  • SAT Fee Waiver
  • ACT Fee Waiver

Students should contact their counselors if they think they qualify to use one of these waivers.
